Minutes of the Board of Directors Meeting of the Hifeat International Institute
On January 17, 2025, an online meeting was held with the members of the Board of Directors of the Hifeat Entrepreneurship Training Institute.
In light of the advancements of the Institute’s Entrepreneurship Hub and its potential to create employment opportunities for a large number of people, the board unanimously decided to award up to 100 scholarships in 2025.
1. Eligible Educational Levels:
Scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs.
2. Active Participation:
Candidates must actively participate in the Institute’s entrepreneurship classes.
3. Registration Requirement:
Students must register on the Institute’s official website.
4. Focus on Employment Creation:
The scholarship is intended to support individuals who actively engage in the Institute’s planned and sequential training programs, start relevant work, and dedicate a minimum of 5 hours daily to their independent projects. This is not an act of charity but a strategy to promote self-employment.
5. Exclusions:
Students who are currently employed or hired by other organizations will not be eligible for the scholarship.
6. Duration of Scholarship:
Scholarships will cover up to two standard academic semesters within one year and will not include summer remedial terms.
7. Scholarship Cap:
The maximum scholarship amount will range from $100 to $150 per student per semester.
8. Direct Payment to Universities:
The scholarship will only cover tuition fees, which will be paid directly to the respective universities.
9. Self-Sustainability Clause:
The scholarship will be discontinued as soon as the student’s income reaches a level sufficient to independently cover tuition fees, allowing other eligible students to benefit.
10. Performance Monitoring:
The Institute will monitor the academic and professional performance of scholarship recipients through its official website, https://hifeat.org. If a recipient shows weak performance for one month or fails to fulfill responsibilities for a maximum of one week, the scholarship will be terminated.
